About Us

Cohen Heating Supply was founded April 1, 1952 by Mr. Joseph H. Cohen.
Mr. Cohen was a graduate of Bryant University in Business Administration and was a self taught heating guru. He was in high demand for his knowledge and heating engineering expertise.

It’s first location was 516 Prairie Ave. in Providence. As the business grew he moved it to 118 Whipple St. in Providence where he operated till September 1976 when he moved the business to its present location on 38 Bath St. Providence. At that time his son Allan was welcomed into the business.

Mr. Cohen and his son ran the business till 1984 when Mr. Cohen came to an untimely death. He is missed. Mrs. Rosella Cohen and  Allan have kept the business alive at the same location which is now 70 years and counting.
